The ultimate goal of the “Study Visits in Gdynia” is fostering democratic processes and encouraging civil activity in the countries of Eastern Europe, primarily Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, and Russia. The participants have an opportunity to become familiar with the tasks, challenges, and activities of the three sectors in Poland: local government, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and small businesses. This study visit is also a chance to get a glimpse on the Polish education system and to see an overview of the programs of the European Union on the scale of the Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. This is achieved through meetings and open forums with representatives of media, politicians, local activists, and students. Individual short-term internships are also organized within the framework of this initiative.
We are organizing international youth exchanges in Poland and abroad. Young people between 15-25 years old have an opportunity to develop one’s interests, to work in an intercultural group and to improve foreign language communications skills. The aim of the programme is international education and activization of young people. We create for youth opportunity to meet peers from other countries, to overcome communication obstacles and to confront the stereotypes.
We are a Polish independent non-governmental, non-profit organization, not connected with any political party or religious association. Our goal is to support the development of an open and democratic society in Poland and abroad.
